A Penny for Your Thoughts (The Million Dollar Mysteries, Book 1)
By Mindy Starns Clark
see relatedAdventures in Driving School
So a couple of things happened the last week:
Firstly, I went to Defensive Driving school because I got flashed in Star Valley going 61 in a 45mph zone on the way up to Sunrise on our annual ski/snowboarding trip because I was trying to catch up with Mikey because he drives TOO fast for me. So instead of opting to pay the full fee of $210 (!!!!!!!!!!), I took the driving class and only paid $165 (boo).
Just for the record, this is my FIRST and ONLY ticket in 11 years of driving. Amazing, huh?
The class was pretty interesting at the beginning and then just kept dragging on. My teacher liked to tell too many stories. And he was old and stubborn.
I did learn that you should keep a 3-second distance from the car in front of you...as opposed to the 2-second rule from over a decade ago.
Anyway, it's over and done with and I definitely don't want to do it again.
Does that mean I'll stop speeding completely? Probably not. ha ha

Secondly, Paul got his cast off today! YAYYAYAYAYAYAY! That means he can do things now. mwahaha

Life has been busy otherwise. Reading writing working.
Providence is having a dinner theater on April 18 (i sent an invite over Facebook), if you're interested.
Providence is also going another year. So Paul still has a job. :) In lieu of the teacher layoffs in Mesa and Gilbert, I am relieved.
Our tax refund finally came from the IRS. Yes!
My trip to San Francisco was SO fun. Check out pictures on Facebook.
I also have Paul's 30th birthday party pictures up, too.
We'll be in California over Easter weekend with family, so to everyone...HOppy Easter! :) May your lives be blessed with God's grace everyday.
